Steve Isley, PGA
Steve Isley serves in a dual role as Head Professional and General Manager of Oak Island Golf Club . Steve, a member of the PGA since 2000, and hails from NCSU where he played on the Wolfpack golf team. Steve continues to compete in many Carolinas Section PGA events.
In addition to private lessons, the club pro is actively involved in developing the talents of young players, plus introducing the game to new golfers…both young and old.
Colby Lytch, PGA-Associate
Colby Lytch, PGA Associate joined the team at Oak Island Golf Club in February 2024. Colby specializes in introducing new golfers to the game as well as helping seasoned golfers fine-tune their game; his goal is to help golfers develop their skills so they may enjoy playing for their lifetime. Colby’s philosophy of teaching is to simplify the game as much as possible, so the student understands what they are trying to do and why.
Colby attended Wake Forest University where he played on the golf team and competed in many amateur and professional events.
Colby is available for private and group lessons for students of all ages.
Rates for Private Instruction (on the range):
Members: $40.00 per half hour or $80 per hour
Non-Members: $50 per half hour or $100 per hour.
Lesson Series:
Members: $100 for 3 half-hour and $175 for 5 half-hour lessons
Non-Members: $135.00 – 3 half hour, $220 for 5 half hours
Rates for 5 Hole Private Playing Lesson
Members: $150.00
Non-Members: $175.00
Group and clinic lessons are available, pricing depends on group size.
